Galen Clagett is the President and Broker of Clagett Enterprises, Inc. Galen founded CE in 1987, specializing in retail and commercial management services in Frederick County MD. He has extensive experience in managing large budgets, multiple projects, commercial sales and leasing, land development and consulting as well as leasing and management.
In addition to his corporate client work, Galen served three consecutive terms in the Maryland House of Delegates, he served as the President of the Frederick County Board of Commissions, was an educator for Frederick County Public schools and was a high school administrator. As an active member in the Frederick community he has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Jefferson School and the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Comptrollers Business Advisory Committee, the Maryland Ethics Committee, Frederick Rotary Club, Elks Club, Junior Fire Company, Optimist Club and Men’s Garden Club.
Galen earned his MBA and Bachelor of Science degrees from Frostburg State University.
